From the Founder's Desk
“I can speak with authority on the trials and storms of life not because I have ‘paid my dues’ academically, but because I have personally survived the tortuous walk through homelessness, depression, divorce, oppression, abuse, anger, as well as other forms of bondage, and emerged victorious. In my travels throughout the Caribbean, I sensed a spiritual connection with the people. After seeking God and, studying His Word, I realized His intent to use the spiritual gifts, skills, natural abilities, and talents that He has given this nation for kingdom purposes: to help others. God gave me the vision to put together a team to assist this nation to become successful by relying on His Sufficiency: teach one to reach one. In my battle with homelessness, I discovered that there are simply not enough resources available to help with this ‘epidemic’. Therefore, it is my passion to help provide permanent housing and resources for women veterans.”
